This year, I was invited to Kumoricon, a lively anime and manga convention in Portland, Oregon. I had a really good time meeting and talking to new people. This year, as usual, I attended with Manga University, and this year, along with Manga University's books, I brought my original design merchandise goods such as T-shirts, badges, and stickers!
During the event, I got to work with another artist who was helping out our booth Dax (@daxwrong on Instagram) and I got to see many amazing cosplays!
At the event, we worked with the Kumoricon team to set up panels and live "How to Draw Manga" workshops where beginners can learn to draw manga faces and bodies. I was happy to see that there were quite a lot of attendees considering that the convention was packed full of guests and activities. I want to thank everyone who attended and purchased my newest How to Draw Manga book and any book that I have worked on!
I would also love to thank the organizers and every volunteer who made this event possible and also for inviting me. I look forward to attending another convention again!
